Google Reader adds "Like" option
i came across this nifty feature today, while reading feeds in google reader.
it had a new option that lets you "like" a particular item. it is like "share", but there is a difference.
shared items can be seen only by those who are following you.
on the other hand, liking is totally public, and every person using google reader would see how many people actually like the item.
the user can also see people who chose to like it, and therefore he can discover the shared content of like-minded people.
i like this social feature, as it lets me discover shared items of others.
